The checks
The Coimbatore Local Planning Authority, a subcommittee of DTCP, covers 1,531.57 sq km across six taluks: Coimbatore South, Perur, Madukkarai, Sulur, Mettupalayam and Kinathukadavu. Inside that boundary the LPA is the approving body, so a DTCP number alone does not establish that this layout was approved for this parcel.
The Avinashi Road corridor runs into the runway approach path, and the most restricted ground sits at Peelamedu, Singanallur, Kalapatti and Hope College. Within three kilometres the general ceiling is 45 m; inside the funnel the permitted height is two per cent of the distance from the runway edge. None of it appears on the patta or the deed.

Coimbatore sits in the Coimbatore registration zone, which also covers Erode, Nilgiris and Tiruppur. A zone is supervised by one Deputy Inspector General of Registration, so practice and record-keeping tend to be consistent across it.
Coimbatore Joint II - Closed. The villages were redistributed, but the historical register did not move with them, and a search that stops at the current office will not reach it.
